AI-driven investment technology company, quantumrock, welcomes former First Deputy Prime Minister of Luxembourg, Étienne Schneider, as Senior Advisor

Addition of financial and political heavyweight to board substantially bolsters the group’s position as global leader in AI and ML-led financial solutions

AI asset tech company, quantumrock, continues to grow its Board of Advisors with the addition of Étienne Schneider, former First Deputy Prime Minister of Luxembourg. Contributing his significant political weight and economics acumen, Schneider will support and advise quantumrock’s team of more than 30 deep tech and capital market experts as they leverage machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to institutionalize unique alpha sources for quantumrock’s expanding global clientbase.

I’m excited to contribute my experience to quantumrock’s Board of Advisors and support the group’s continuing global expansion through the development and implementation of unique and highly-effective AI-driven financial solutions.

Performing a key role in company positioning, decision making, and product development, quantumrock’s Board of Advisors includes prominent figures from both the financial and technology sectors. Schneider joins other recent additions including Andreas Wölfer formerly of UniCredit Group and Bernhard Brand formerly of Deutsche Bank and the National Bank of Abu Dhabi, as well as long standing Board members such as AXA’s Head of Open Innovation, Frank Desvignes. In addition to these leading industry figures, the Board is composed of highly experienced individuals from industry leaders such as Société Générale, Santander, McKinsey, and Morgan Stanley. With Schneider’s advisory role confirmed, quantumrock’s position as a frontrunner in the AI-driven asset management space is further substantiated.

We’re thrilled to welcome Étienne to quantumrock’s Board of Advisors. With his decades of political and global economic experience, we’re confident of the significant contribution he’ll make to quantumrock’s success story.

Throughout the course of his highly influential political and business career, Étienne Schneider has held the position of First Deputy Prime Minister of Luxembourg, as well as Minister for the Economy, Minister for Foreign Trade, Minister for Internal Security, Minister for Defence, and Minister for Health, leaving an indelible mark on Luxembourg’s political scene. Before entering government in 2012, he held the position as chairman in different energy companies such as Cegedel, Enovos, Creos, and the Société Electrique de l’Our, and lead the Société Nationale de Crédit de l’Investissement as vice chairman. Since returning to the business world in 2020, Schneider holds independant directorial roles on several boards of directors, most notably ArcelorMittal, Besix Group and Jan de Nul. He also runs Beta Aquarii, an internationally active business consulting company based in Luxembourg. With his wealth of unrivaled experience in politics, economics, and business, Schneider is an exceptional addition to the quantumrock advisory team.
